  Didn't stay in motel but ate in restaurant/ bistro. Very busy so do book. Seems popular with locals. We had a small serve of the days roast - I'm glad we didn't go large! Generous servings, especially of the dessert. Sticky date pudding was huge, well presented, delicious and our thoughtful waitress brought an extra spoon so we could share. Coffee was a little bitter, but sugar solved that. Overall we had a lovely meal and experience.

  Went in hoping to have a good meal but ended up getting mocked and stared as if we dont deserve to be there. Disappointing and average food experience.

  Came in on a busy night. Rainy Friday and we didn't have a booking. Ended up getting seated quickly and the food was excellent. The staff were really friendly. 10/10 would go again for a meal. Plus on a nice day the tables outside are tops for a lunchtime beer
